Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No need to supply your name, where you live, or your email address. The tool only needs gender, birth date, your health status in everyday terms, tobacco use, coverage amount, and desired term. That's enough for the carriers to provide rates.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
What you see are quotes from each carrier for the health rating you selected. Your final premium is determined by the carrier after their underwriting, which may confirm, improve, or change your rating. The rates shown are estimates only and not an offer of insurance or guarantee of final pricing.
What happens when I click Apply?
Your name goes into the application, which is built from the exact quote you selected, and then you move to the carriers' secure application platform. You can stop partway through and come back anytime, and all signatures are done electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance broker (License 0B75129), processes these applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the carrier, the coverage amount, and your specific answers. Some carriers can approve eligible applicants instantly without an exam; others may require one. Each quote clearly states whether a medical exam is expected, may be required, or won't be needed.
Is a longer term better?
A term should last as long as someone would be financially harmed by your death: a home loan, children at home, a business debt. Longer terms cost more monthly but freeze your rate for that whole period. The quote tool lets you compare costs for 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year periods all at once.
Does this site sell my information?
We absolutely do not. The quote form doesn't request name, phone, or email—we don't trade, share, or sell any data, and our traffic counting doesn't use cookies. Learn more about our privacy practices on the privacy page.
