How to read the results

Monthly payment shows what each carrier is quoting for the monthly cost given the amount, duration, and health rating you chose. Rate class identifies which underwriting tier the quote assumes; carriers finalize it after underwriting. Exam indicates whether that carrier expects to order a paramedical exam—many modern programs skip it for eligible candidates. A.M. Best reflects the carrier's financial-strength grade.
