The quote tool

The quote form collects gender, birth date, a self-assessment of your health, tobacco use status, the coverage amount, and the term length you want. These answers go to a rates service run on the carriers' systems to come back with pricing—they're not kept on this website. Getting quotes doesn't ask for your name, where you live, or your email. If we receive the identical request again soon, we might serve it from our cache instead of calling the rates service again.

Applying

If you move ahead to apply, your answers feed into a secure form hosted by the carriers, and from there you fall under their privacy rules. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance broker (License 0B75129), oversees application handling.

The contact form

The contact form requests your name, email address, optionally your phone number, your preferred reply method, what the message is about, and your actual message. Email forwards your message to the agency with your email as the return address. This site stores no copy of your message, no database of contacts, and no record of message text. Before sending, a quick anti-spam check runs in your browser.

Measurement

We measure traffic using a first-party, cookieless system that runs from this domain only. We don't drop cookies or use local IDs to track you; your IP address is shortened before storage; referring page query strings are removed; and server logs automatically delete themselves after 90 days. Browsers that signal Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control settings are not counted in our analytics.

What we do not do

We never trade, rent, or disclose personal information; we don't run advertising trackers; and we don't embed third-party analytics code. The only third-party tool on this site is the carriers' application engine, which only loads if you navigate to the application page.
